The story
Vedett was born in 1945 as a local café beer around Breendonk. Extra White is their witbier, wheat-based, spiced with dried orange peel and coriander in the Flemish tradition, a style the milkman Pierre Celis brought back to Hoegaarden in 1966 after it had all but died out.
